I believe that the importance of education in the life of an individual cannot be overstated. Education empowers students to discover themselves -who they are as people and is an essential tool that immensely contributes towards constructive transformation of national consciousness and strengthens the edifice of our social-professional capabilities & ethics. I have witnessed in our students an unparalleled knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism, an acute consciousness about the world around them, a focused ambition and a sustained commitment.

It gives me immense satisfaction that our Institution is able to contribute to society by producing teachers who are given sound professionals training, besides enlightened by inculcating moral values in them. I congratulate you for joining our Institution. We have been fortunate in being guided by the altruistic and dedicated worker of Dev Samaj, Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji, Chairman, College Managing Committee. The college that is being run under the aegis of well established Management has earned its own niche not only in Ferozepur but across the globe. Dev Samaj College of Education for Women understands that it is important for us to work towards providing employment readiness and vocational skills to our girls to address their need for existence as individuals. Much is done and much more is proposed to be done as the college marches ahead. Commitment to serve our students by providing quality education to all is one of the basic tenets on which our college stands.

As the Secretary of, Dev Samaj College of Education, I extend a very warm welcome to the students who are desirous of seeking admission in our College. It has also been our endeavor to provide continuous updated education in a congenial environment to our students. At present the educational scenario involves innovation in classroom practices. -We encourage innovation by the classroom practitioners in and outside the class. Emphasis is to be laid on all round development of student-teachers. A teacher must leave no stone unturned in growing the students for nation building. The process of teaching-learning should revolve round the issues of peace, love, harmony and brotherhood which will transform the students of today into ideal citizens of tomorrow.
